Problem running application

there is no error in the debugger but the application starts throwing
windows dialog messages right when the application is started.

In the demo application the last line of main.

I am running windows XP SP3

If it helps, there is no main.cpp in the starter folder in the zip
file I downloaded. App.cpp and App.h
