Clear my PMP Exam

Dear Freinds,

 

Today I've cleared my PMP examination & now I've become a "Certified PMP".

 

I will share my experience to you all:

 

1. Exam was tougher than my expectations. I think Puneet also felt the same.
2. Most of the questions were conceptual (more than 85%). Be sure to clear your concepts thoroughly. Read PMBOK guide at least 2-3 times along with Astrowix book for support.
3. I finished my exam with just 7 minutes before the time ends. In some questions, I had to read 2-3 times to understand it carefully & had to spend more time on them.
4. More qustions on Risk, Procurement, Quality, Communication & Schedule. Closing & Executions questions were a little bit tricky.
5. Numerical were ok.
6. Finally, book your seat in Prometric centre ASAP. It is heavily booked.

Dear Manish,

 

The computer generated letter from PMI mentioned only "PASS". It also provided the level of proficiency (Proficient, Moderately proficient and Below Proficient) in each domain areas like, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitor & Controlling, Closing and Professional & Social Responsibility. The final certificate will come in next 6 weeks.

Dear Friends,

 

For your knowledge, I want to clear a point regarding "Prometric centre" is that it is heavily booked not because of PMP candidates but because of guys appearing for GMAT & GRE tests. Actually, out on many candidates, I was the only one who appeared for PMP on that day.

 

So, don't be in a impression that whole World is applying for PMP.
