I can't get FusionDebug working.

I'm using ColdFusion Server 8, WINXP 32, and this my java.args:

# Arguments to VM
java.args=-Xdebug -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xnoagent -
Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=8000 -server -
Xmx512m -Dsun.io.useCanonCaches=false -XX:MaxPermSize=192m -
Dcoldfusion.rootDir={application.home}/../ -Dcoldfusion.libPath=
{application.home}/../lib -Dcoldfusion.classPath={application.home}/../
lib/updates,{application.home}/../lib,{application.home}/../gateway/
lib/,{application.home}/../wwwroot/WEB-INF/flex/jars,
{application.home}/../wwwroot/WEB-INF/cfform/jars

I've configured the Debug in Eclipse accordingly, but when I launch
the configuration I get this error:

Couldn't launch a debug session: Could not connect to server localhost
on port 8000. Ensure the server has correctly been configured for
debugging and try again.
Could not connect to server localhost on port 8000. Ensure the
server has correctly been configured for debugging and try again.
java.lang.NullPointerException

Any idea?

Thanks

Raffaele

Hi Raffaele,

Are you sure port 8000 is free? Could you change the port number and
try launching a configuration. In the CF Admin there are 2 places
where the debug port can be altered; the JVM section and the Debugging
Settings. Restart the server after changing the port.

If the problem persists could you open the error log in Eclipse,
double-click the error and email the text that is shown to me. This
would help a lot.

Thanks,

Matt Thomas
