[FUM-2013/14] Funtoo User Meeting 2013/14

as we are a steadily growing and we are like to show you how much we appreciate every of your work you added to flora or any other of our project. We are going to plan a Funtoo User Meeting in 2013/14 for the first time under the topic "User meet dev, dev meet User". As I am going to initiate that whole meeting, I would like to get some feedback first if there is some interest of your site to have a meeting like that, what would be the best time of the year for all of you, so we can get as many of you as possible to join us. For now I'm going to plan the event to take place in the middle of Germany, in the north of Hesse somewhere around the region of the Edersee (http://maps.google.de/maps?q=Edersee,+Germany&hl=de&ll=51.18623,8.996429&spn=0.152356,0.318604&geocode=+&hnear=Edersee&t=h&z=12), in the heart of the Kellerwald region, one of Germany's last primeval forest regions.
So far I plan the Funtoo User meeting as a 4-5 day event, where we will have a lot of social activities, at least 50% or more and some coding and talks next to it, if there are any guys of you interessted in doing the one or other talk.
To go and get start planing a meeting like that in the above described area, I would like to know if and how many of you are interessted in such an event, so I can have an eye for the places we could go to and start on planning the local costs for it, so that we aren't to expensive in the end.
It would also be nice if there would be German users, that are interessted and willing in to help get this run, all can give me a ping at IRC or better via email to golodhrim (a) funtoo dot org, as Subject please USE [FUM-13/14-sup] so I get filtered it easily later.
So far I have on my plan for possible social activity the following points:
* A Druid guided tour through the woods of the "Kellerwald" with some "Met" (honey wine) on the trip
* A ship tour over the "Edersee" on of Germany's bigges artificial lakes, perhaps a moonshine tour
* A visit of the Edersee-dam and a historical guided tour
* Visit of the town of Kassel and the Herkules statue there with the old Castle at the foot of the Herkules
* Visit of Castle Waldeck
* A medieval guided tour through the night watchman of Korbach or a guided tour through Frankenberg/Eder
For all Costs and etc I will go out and see what we get on support by the local government and the institutions doing it.
Also I'm thinking about not only doing a User-Dev meeting but also a meeting with the families. But I would like to hear your voices about it.
