Scrooge here,
Actually I wanted to interject one other comment about my remarks of not giving gifts at Christmas just so you all wouldn't think ill of me. We do give gifts to my inlaws and wife's family and they give gifts to us. I just made a mental list one Christmas of all the things that remind us of Christ on Christmas and all the things that don't, and we only do the things that do. But we don't expect others to and we are not pharisitical about it, except with Bro. Don.
Anyway I hope you all had a Merry Christmas where ever you are, and thank you for your loyal aligience to the list and each other. I think this is one of the largest fundamental Christian lists on the net which is largely your fault. Some of us have made friends on the list and I have even had the priviliage to meet some personally as I travel around the country.
I will be preaching Sunday morning in a small mountain town near the Tennessee/Kentucky boarder. I will be preaching on the subject "When Were You saved?" from Ephesians 1:4-5; 13. I am working on the sermon as we type, have the elements from earlier in the week, just formulating the outline while I study. Anyway, I would appreciate your prayers for this weekend, especially for lost souls to be saved. The best place to witness to lost people is the average Baptist congregation, the tares are there hiding with the wheat. Thank you for your prayers.
God bless,
Bro. Art
