Art Shady is VERY CRITICAL...Please pray.

Dear group:

 

    Our brother, Art Shady was taken to the hospital last night (Saturday) with massive bleeding from both his urinary tract and rectum. As of this post (2:45 pm Sunday) he is in the ccu unit at the hospital. His bleeding continues without abatement. They have been giving him many bags of blood, plasma, and platelets since last night, and he is passing it out as fast as they can put it in him. From what we know,  they think they know where it is coming from but cannot or will not do anything at this point to stop the bleeding. His BP is up and down, getting as low as 60/40.

 

Pray for him, his wife Sandra and the kids. Sandra is exhausted, and last time my wife called she did not answer the phone, a neighboring friend did.

 

    The wife and  I are heading up that way now. We should be there in two hours. My name is Doug Cooper. Art is like a flesh and blood brother to me, we've been fellowshipping since the Bible College days. My cell number is 423-637-9327. I know my message is not well written, but we are trying to get on the road.
