To all the Members of the Free Software User's Group,

Hey fellows just went through the list of people who have set Email Delivery from this Group as 'No Mail'.
I think all such users are just staying around in the group idly and for no reason.

I am thinking of terminating the membership of such users from the group, but I want poll of all the members in the group.

The poll will work as below

I am sending a number 0 at the end of this mail.

Those who say that I must continue to keep these idle members in the group, please add 1 to this number
Those who say that I must eliminate these idle members from the group, please subtract 1 from this number

The poll will be valid till 3 days from now.

In the end if I see the number to be +ve the members will stay in this group, eliminated otherwise.

Even the thought of deleting such members is quite autocratic one. What does one loose if there are idle members on the group? They have their own inboxes where they get the email and they don't want to send emails. It is an issue of their own liberty! Those who want to be active are active.

It is their choice.

I wouldn't be comfortable in such a group.

You have to keep reminding your government that you don't get your
rights from them; you give them permission to rule, only so long as
they follow the rules: laws and constitution.
