Coming soon to a Transportation Committee near you...
2010-H-2272-R relative to motorcycle noise emission controls. Sponsors: (Prime) Judith E Day 2010-H-2318-R relative to the wearing of motorcycle protective headgear. Sponsors: (Prime) Judith E Day
What the hell is the bug up her ass about motorcycles, anyway? After all her oppressive bills last session -- including a /different/ 'motorcycle noise levels' bill (HB95: it failed, so how does she get away with submitting another one already?) -- blindingly bad enough that I recorded the hearings, it's becoming abundantly clear that Day really isn't very bright, is she...? --
They are doing the same thing with home schoolers. They had 4 supers
testify about people that screwed up, which is probably about 1% of
all home schoolers to support more regulations for the ones who do
100% better job than the public school..
But once again, because they can, unless we bitch and moan and stop
them!
By the way, the other day, 3 out of 4 offenses that came up for trial
were not even criminal in my book... so much for that!

Bill, please stay on top of this, and let's get the word out. I sent a preliminary out to the bikers on my list.

For those who aren't aware, the next NHMRO meeting -- and first since the spring -- is October 11th at the Deerhead Sportmen's Club in Hooksett. I have other regular obligations on 2nd Sunday mornings, unfortunately, but I'm gonna try to make it, anyway. I see now that an alert on these bills is already posted (by Sherm Packard) at <http://www.nhmro.org/>. Letourneau, who's legislative liaison, likely will be in attendance, as well... --
