Hi,

I have been trying to joing your Frigidaire Flair Yahoo group for some time now and never get any response to either get accepted or denied. I own a RCIB-645 and really need some help with it. What do I need to do to join?

Sincerely,

Mischa Hof

Is this the same Mischa from "Mischa's Bewitched"? I can't help you
with joining issues but I'm glad to see another Bewitched fan in this
forum. I use your site quite a bit to look at items that were used on
Bewitched that I am also trying to collect.

Hope you get your joining issues worked out.

Hi Everyone

I did get the joining issues resolved. Thank you so much, and yes
Ethan, Mischa's Bewitched is me :) glad to hear you like the site.

Okay so I am new, and i need to go through all the files here to see
if anyone has teh same problem as mine. I just got my own RCIB-645 and
it is in great condition. The problem, well I put on a kettle of water
17 minutes ago and it is still not boiling. All the burners seem to
have this problem, slow warming. Anyone have any quick suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Mischa hof

Hi Lanny,

I got 220 volts. I am discovering that the whole unit is a little out
of whack it seems. Tried to bake something yesterday at 400 degrees
and it burned the whole thing with 15 minutes. Seems the thermostat is
not working right. I really would like to fix these problems as I
really want keep this Range.
I opened the top yesterday and doublechecked the wiring diagram still
glued to the top. At some point the speed heat control fuse was
bypassed, hence no extra boost. the fuse unit is still there, with the
fuse in it, but the wires are snipped. I can't really tell if the
Speed heat switch was replaced as i don't know what it should look
like. The diagram and the control itself seem to match however, so i
don't know.

Does anyone have any suggsetions? Should I try and replace the burners
first to see if that makes a difference? If so, where can I find
affordable burners for this unit still?

Thanks,

Mischa
