Beth Ferguson passes away

As you know Bruce Ferguson was instrumental in creating Big Bone Lick
State Park. Last Wednesday his wife of 60 years passed away. Below are
the specifics to the arrangements.

Birth date: April 20, 1930
Death date: December 21, 2011

Obituary:

Elizabeth Beth Reynolds Ferguson, age 81, of Union, passed away
peacefully on December 21, 2011. Beth was born April 20, 1930 in
Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of Sam and Patty Reynolds. She
graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1951. Beth retired after
28 years in the Boone County school system, primarily teaching first
grade at A.M. Yealey Elementary School in Florence. She was preceded
in death by her brother Sam Reynolds and sister Martha Reynolds. She
is survived by her husband of 60 years, Bruce Ferguson, daughters
Carol Ray (Paul Medin), Patty Hayden (Rick), Miriam Pacheco (Doug),
sons Stuart Ferguson (Sara), Philip Ferguson (Martha), ten
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials:
Memorial donations requested to the Dinsmore Homestead Foundation or
your charity of choice.

Visitation:
A gathering of friends will take place on Wednesday, December 28, 2011
at Stith Funeral Home in Florence, from 1-3 pm. Memorial service will
be held at 3 PM.
