Dear friends,
I thought you might enjoy seeing a photo and video essay about the Sakyadhita conference in Vaishali, India, site of the ordination of the first bhikkhuni by the Buddha. As I have mentioned, this was an extremely inspiring and educational opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the needs and achievements of lay women and bhikkhunis throughout the world. I am grateful to all the organizers and participants who made this conference possible. Here is the link:
