Returning to the Forest ~ A New Abode

Dear Friends of our Hermitage,

I just want to tell you how wonderful it is to be able to return here now to this most precious, pure, clear, clear place, where both the lungs and the heart can breathe deeply, and relax deeply, immersed in pristine purity of the natural elements.  My heart swells in enormous gratitude.  Every cell of the body begins cleaning and healing.

Thank you so much to all of you for all of your care, kindness, support and participation in this space here, being possible.

I returned to find a new kuti built, the 7th.  It is lovely, in a most beautiful fern grove, the old "Sudhamma" campsite.  Afternoon sunlight was pouring in on the ferns and deck.  It is a space that gets a nice little bit of sun the whole year round :-), except when raining and when the big fog comes in.

It still needs paint and a floor, and some scraping and paint on the recycled doors, but with the loving touch of caring volunteers, should be ready for this coming vassa, if not before. It will make a lovely, quite place of meditative abiding, for whoever has the blessing to stay there.
