Dear Dhamma Friends,
We have been so moved by your unwavering generosity and your smiles and joyful visits with questions about our welfare here in this lovely forest hermitage. Conditions are getting cooler and wetter, as conditions tend to get after summer. Your loving support has helped the reestablished bhikkhuni sangha in the U.S. share in community for two Vassa retreats, two years in a row. It has built up this hermitage from an overgrown network of roads and landslides to a wilderness hermitage with one of the most beautifully energized shrine rooms on the planet, with a modest kitchen, with kutis and heated spaces, with safer roads and trails. Our sangha is practicing well due to your loving support.
We have received questions about our pressing needs now at this time and so this short letter is written with these small requests. We ask that you email us before purchasing these items to be certain they have not already been purchased by another generous donor.
Please direct questions to Samaneri Marajina and I will try to answer them as best I can and as quickly as possible.
Many thanks for your kindness. You are each truly a blessing for this sangha. May every blessing of this Dhamma be yours,
Metta
Marajina Samaneri
