Hermitage Committee - Hermitage Progress Report

[Aranya Bodhi Hermitage]

Dear Friends of Hermitage, 

Please join me in welcoming Bhikkhuni  Suvijjana  and Samaneri  Nibbida  to the Aranya Bodhi Hermitage.  Ven. Suvijjana has returned from her travels to Thailand and Australia.  Sr. Nibbida is originally from New Zealand, most recently residing at the Santi Forest Monastery in Bundanoon Australia.

We now have seven women staying up at the Hermitage with more arriving in the coming weeks.  We are settling in, establishing our habits of  meditation, study and devotion in the forest, and working steadily to be ready for the Vassatime Retreat, from July 15 to October 12.

Dear Ayye Sobhanna,
Thanks for the update. I met Samaneri Nibbida while I was in Australia. Please let her know that I said hello and wish her well. I hope that you all have a nice retreat. I have made plans to attend the monastic gathering. I will not be at the ordinations but will see you all at the gathering. The multi city destinations and departures made going to the ordinations too expensive.
