Take it with a pinch of salt. Clearly there is a joke about everything and any subject. Sexist jokes for instance, Depends where your sensitive area is there is always a joke to offend someone. If your blind they joke about blind people and we all laugh. So we are funny to some. Don’t mean the comedian actually laughs at blind people, he just found something funny to say about them. Same in this case. He in show biz. Try being Irish, they have made millions on us. He surrounded by drink and drug problems. Laugh with him.
I never did hear that joke you said you where going to stop telling….. put that one up hun,

yea john, i know what he means.when i was clean before a couple of years ago i thought i was a great bloke to get off drugs,yea it was a hard thing to do and i felt very proud that i did it but looking back on it now i did feel i was seeking other peoples approval that i kicked a habit to make myself feel good. anyway this time round i try not to do that, yea we can get a nice feeling from certain things outside ourselves but it doesnt last for long so now im trying to fix the inside so im not going around looking for acceptance to get a feeling of selfworth, its a long hard road and confusing alot of the time, funny video though, anyway have to go im off to argos to get myself a food blender :) hope everyone is doing well.

I'm please everyone had a view, it's a wonderful thing to get such a raw insite. I also find it very sincer that the folks on here were able to see this for what I also see it for. I like the collective hug I get and give on this forum but to me it's worthless if were not clear sighted and honest which I think humor like this helps us achive.

Yeah-he's sort of right (in a jovial,simplistic way)...but he's still
FAT(ter,now)...AND not as funny or (popular) as he used to be(-bit
'below the belt',but people like that are used to it and deserve it!).
I used to be a fan,then when he was famous,and before (and during) my
descent into 'drug-hell'.How times change?!

His doing a skit so it has to be simple to fit the form. his actually a very bright geezer, if you see him interviewed his really chilled and knows his stuff. I think he was just you and angry which always makes you think like a simpleton lol

I think being soba and of course getting old makes you see the insanity of being an addict. I saw an actress who names escapes me but she played the loud mouth red head in easterenders, say that being an addict was just like being insane and I agree because the things you do are decking nuts when seen from a soba persons view point.
Smoking white candle wax thinkings it's crack you dropped or cleaning a glass pip for 6 hours in the Vienna hope that 1 atom of gear might have escaped you. Standing in stair wells for hours n hours waiting for a 13 gun rotting kids to sell you some under sized shit gear with your rent money...barking mad and shameful. Thank god for Tham Krabok, my family, my stubbon in ability to die and the support of this group.

We all in it together and understand something a lot mock, and to be honest
you can see why they might. I for one don't blame them.
But I have to say if you can see the funny side in anything it helps. I
laugh at myself a lot. I love comedy. It's a tonic. I get great highs,
natural ones from it. Its sociable and you don't need dutch courage before
you go to see a stand up. Though he might before he goes on stage. We use
the comedy club in Dublin for our non Drinking social nights out and it
works.
Though on the smoking front, it is illegal here in Ireland in any public
place. I gave up over a year ago but still choose to go out on the smoke
breaks with everyone as the craic out there is better than been the one left
to mind the handbags and drinks on the table. You get to meet other people
as well that you never would have met staying sitting at your table. So the
ban of indoor smoking has started a new social scene in most pubs and clubs
etc. Quite a few non smokers go out now to the smoking area because of this
new way of meeting others. Gas I think.
Anyway Hooray for comedy.

process that you 'toughen' to other people's notion of what you are

is obvious,but I got to thinking that one of the reason there are so
many fatalities is possibly due to the 'Stop-Start' nature of their
drug-use and the problems that must arise from tolerance.What with
travelling to differant towns for shows,shoots,promotions,whatever and
then returning home or wherever,would distrupt regular usage and quite
probably subject them to 'gear' of differing and unknown srengths and
toxicities (what with 'cuts')-the number of Cocaine fatalities,of
late, due to an increase in purity,has risen noticably(over here).(Not
to mention the 'special' relationships that certain stars have with
their Private Doc's).WheresYour average 'Joe-Junkie' settles
into his 'habit',usually with the same dealers and I dont suppose
this is so much of a problem-tolerance is usually sustained at its
miserable level and may change intermittantly.In fact outside of
Hospital 'jobs',which are usually down to Liver problems/
Sepacemea,ect.-very sadly, a number of deaths in my experience have
been Junkies 'making the break',having gone through a clean
period,often due to prison or even a short jail-holding but not
always,and sometimes people just making a genuine effort and breaking
resolution.Its a 'common or garden' OD,Fatal and is usually aggravated
by alcohol.A sad and unexpected end for the user and all too common.I
wonder how many times in my greedy and stupified state, I was
wandering unknowingly around that 'threshfold'-whereby the differance
between opening your eyes and going on to,well getting your next fix
