Dear Friends,
Sorry if I am sending this to you for a second
time. When I was half way through posting it the other day, my address book
suddenly got scrambled and the names were no longer in alphabetical order and
some were listed by first name and others by second name! Totally
confusing. So, I'm not sure who I have and have not sent this too already.
For those who already got this, sorry for double posting you. For those of you
receiving it for the first time, hope you find it of interest. All the best to
you.
For Land and Life,
John H.W. Hummel
Dear Friends,
I promised George Poitras of Fort Chipewyan First
Nation in Alberta, that I would send the peoples film
'Downstream' to the people of the world to see. I am
fulfilling that promise now.
The Tar Sands development in northern Alberta,
Canada is the size of the State of Florida in the United States. It could
fit several entire European countries into that land which is now being
destroyed. If you want to assist the people of Fort Chipewayan, please
contact: George Poitras (he's in the film) at: george....@shawbiz.ca
All the best to you.

John H.W. Hummel
