Contaminated Site Reports for 4,464 First Nation Reserves

Dear Friends,

To see the complete report for each contaminated site on your Reserve's and
in your Traditional Territory: go to the link below, click on 'Reporting
Organization', then, click on 'Department of Indian Affairs and Northern
Development' and then click on the number beside each Indian Reserve. Also
if you wish to see a map of exactly where each site is located, in the body
of the report, click on: "locate this sight on a map"

Hope this is helpful to all people investigating pollution/health impacts on
First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities in Canada. Little has been done
to investigate and clean up most of these Federal contaminated sites on
Indian Reserves.

With this Treasury Board search engine, you can get similar reports and maps
for every Federal contaminated site in Canada. Please remember, the site
reports for contaminated schools and nursing stations on Indian reserves are
listed on this website under the jurisdiction of other Reporting
Organization's e.g. 'Department of Health' (Check it Out)

All the best to you.

For Land and Life,
John H.W. Hummel

P.S. There is also a 'Zoom In' feature for the maps. Also, I have attached a
sample contaminated site report and maps for one reserve in the Tsilhqot'in
territory to give you an idea of what you may find in your Traditional
Territory by using the Treasury Board of Canada's Contaminated Site's
Database
