Here is a map to the oaklands centre, winleigh road, birmingham. Buses that you can take are, first, 16 or 16a, from city centre, corporation street, opposite house of fraser. and ask to get off the bus on handsworth wood road. After departing the bus, turn back on yourself to the roundabout (20 years) and at the roundabout turn right, three streets, to winleigh road and the oaklands centre is at the bottom of the street, in front of you before the road bends to the left.
There is another bus, the 101. that leaves you off at the corner of grove lane and oxhill road at a roundabout with a Cooperative mini supermarket on the right hand side, but I can't, for the life of me, find out where you get this from in the centre of Birmingham . . . I do know that the 16 bus leaves about every 10 or 15 minutes on Saturday mornings and takes about 10 or 15 minutes. You will know you are nearby to the stop when there is a park on the left side, then a church, as the road slopes upwards. Joyce.
