From your subject line, I thought I was gonna be able to put a bid in for my

Went into your site, and boy, did it take a while to download. Good job on
your clients' sites, (the ones I saw), you had the sense to avoid the
animations you threw in everywhere on yours!
The opening page had images totalling 123056, and one of these was a link
banner for chuffchart at 32915.
Same with the art gallery page, although you had managed to leave animated
gifs out, the images totalled 119435, for 6 pictures, and most looked as
though they could have been optimised.
Far better to have thumbnails linking to large versions, if you can't get
them better than that.
Now I don't object to newbies having large page sizes (within reason)
because we have *all* been thro that stage, I needed a fair bit of help and
advice to get mine down, when I first started. BUT if you have set yourself
up as a web designer, you aught to know better.

Careful, you'll get me over-excited. ;o) I too was disappointed to see
the subject line didn't relate to my good self, as I wondered how much
I'm worth. I must get a new scanner so you can see a real "oil
painting". ;o)
