Subject: ppp connection
I can dial up to freeserve using my chatscript and using minicom. My chat
script dosen't seen to login to freeserve and there fore the line is
dropped. I login manually with minicom but I don't know how to bring up pppd
after dialing with minicom.

My chatscript:

pppd connect 'chat -v -f 90 ATDT08450796699 CONNECT "" login:
jcurrer.freeserve.co.uk password: xxxxxx' /dev/ttyS1 115200 modem

(above script may be slightly inaccurate, as I'm writing it from memory
because i'm doing this posting from Windows and my network printer dosen't
quite work yet under linux)

This is becoming maddening! I want to set IP Masquerading and i obviously
need a working connection first!

Cheers
