Actually, nothing surprises me about the stupidity of some folk, though as
one of the things I have been doing lately is installing home PC's (not my
idea, it's just a job) I have been advocating Acorn and instructing users
NOT to post to this group unless they have a valid help query concerning
RISC OS. Since most of them don't even know what RISC OS is, they readily
accepted the advice.
Having said that, I've been reading about connection probs on other
freeserve.help groups, so it would seem that there are some problems out
there although I've yet to suffer any, at least not since that news server
cockup a couple of weeks ago...
