Did you download the vmware image of FreeMED? If so, the proper remitt
server is in this image.
Did you start the remitt server as the instructions say?
The instructions say:
*72. To start the Remitt Billing system, confirm that the remitt server is
running:
ps ax | grep remitt
You should see:
24385 ? S<sl 3:17 /usr/bin/perl /usr/share/remitt/bin/
remitt_server.pl -d
73. If the service is not running, then start it again with:
sudo /etc/init.d/remitt start
74. ifconfig
Write down your IP address. It should look like this:
inet addr:192.168.78.130
75. Log into FreeMED as administrator. Configure FreeMED to connect to
remitt server by going to:
Main -> Administration menu -> System configuration -> Remitt
billing sytem
76. Fill in the information:
Remitt Server Hostname:
192.168.78.130 - Actually enter your IP address that you determined with
command #74.
Do not enter a trailing slash like this: 192.168.78.139/
65. Remitt Server Port:
7688
66. Transport Protocol:
https*
Let me know if you get remitt running.
