I was talking to my friend about freemed EMR, who is Pulmonologist in CA and asked him to check the demo website (http://www.freemed.info) with admin/test.

He told me as did not find the templates to record his notes. I asked him more details about what templates he is expecting... The details are..
  • Most of the doctors use 3 to 10 templates based on kind of practise they do. For example. Family practicenor need min of 5 tempaltes when he is billing level 3, the template is standars of billing company where they expect standard sections. In Freemed, the template is for room equipment.
Do you have any plan to implement template section with user can define section, which is used for billing justification.

Thanks

Hi Krishna,
Perhaps he did not see the templates because he never logged in.  You can't log in with admin and test
The credentials are demo and demo.
Once he is logged in, ask him to click on one of the patients and then go to the Progress Notes Box. Then click on Add.
In the next screen he will see a heading named Progress Note template.  Ask him to click on Add which is located just to the right of this heading.
Then ask him to create the template that he desires.  I would suggest that he write the entire template in the Interval section which is at the bottom.  This section has been formatted to print nicely in case he wants to send a copy of his consultation to a referring provider.
The whole process takes just a minute and is very easy to do.
The new version of FreeMED will have billing justification attached to it.  The present version does not.
