I have two monitors - CRT unfortunately not flat LCD.
* Compaq fs7600 monitor
* Dell m781s monitor

I also have two sets of small computer speakers - one with USB power &
one with regular outlet adapter.
* Altec Lansing speakers
* Compaq speakers

I also have a pair of keyboards - Dell and Compaq (both old style PC
purple plug, not USB).

Are these desirable for Free Geek as a donation?
If so, I can bring them by on Monday.

(I also have a Dell e172fpb LCD monitor which doesn't want to stay
on).

None of these items are particularly desirable, but we will gladly
accept them, including the LCD. If you bring them by on Monday I will
see you then, otherwise we can arrange a pickup at your convenience.
It will be particularly useful to have the monitors at the meeting,
because we may need them for testing other donations. Thanks for
thinking of us, and I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.

Sounds good.
I also have a Power Mac G4 (no monitor) that I have been trying to
place through another group but haven't had success.
If that is interesting and you feel you can find a good home I can
haul that over too.

We definitely need more monitors, (LCD and even CRT monitors) to go
with the PCs that volunteers will soon be earning by building them.
We have a monitor shortage. However we don't have a lot of storage
space, so we do have to keep that in mind, as well. But, for every PC
we have, we need a monitor, keyboard & mouse, & probably computer
speakers to go with it.

Thanks,
Elcaset

Hi Mike, sorry about the short notice but I'm not going to be there
tonight after all, and in fact the meeting may not take place at all.
The combination of Occupy Seattle's march and the Seahawks game is
going to make downtown impassable (apparently Occupy will be using the
Inscape building as shelter / refuge / aid point).
If you'd like we can arrange for me to pick up the items at another
time. We're also discussing an alternate venue or a rescheduling on
the list.
