MAP2PDF provides an easy to use and affordable solution for distributing
GIS data to non-GIS users. By leveraging Adobe Acrobat, GeoPDF as
portable mapping format, allows for the creation and publishing of layered
Georegistered maps that can be accessed at no cost by non-GIS users.
Non-GIS users utilizing Adobe Reader can view maps, turn layers on and
off, query attributes, and create redlines and notes.
Notes and redlining can then be distributed for review and/or incorporated
back into the master GIS database, all without the need for non-GIS users
to
have GIS applications, databases, or any knowledge of how they work.
