Blair plans overhaul of human rights law
EDDIE BARNES POLITICAL EDITOR
(eba...@scotlandonsunday.com)
TONY Blair is planning to rein in controversial human rights legislation
following a series of court cases which critics claim have put criminals
before victims.

The Prime Minister has written to new Home Secretary John Reid setting out
his most "urgent" policy plans for the portfolio. It comes with Blair
attempting to move on from a dreadful two weeks, which culminated in a poor
showing in England's local government elections, and further questions about
his ability to stay in the job.

Top of the list in Blair's letter to Reid is new legislation which would
give ministers the power to over-rule court hearings.

It follows the case last week where judges prevented nine Afghan refugees
who had hijacked a plane from being deported.

Blair's frustration centres on the 1998 Human Rights Act, which enshrined
the European Convention of Human Rights into British law.

Downing Street sources say that the act has led to a number of "barmy"
decisions by judges to favour the rights of offenders. Number 10 believes
that the interpretation of human rights laws by the courts in this country
is more heavy-handed than in other European nations.

The Prime Minister's letter states that it is essential to "ensure that the
law-abiding majority can live without fear".

He adds: "We will need to look again at whether primary legislation is
needed to address the issue of court rulings which overrule the government
in a way that is inconsistent with other EU countries' interpretation of the
European Convention of Human Rights."

However, the move attracted criticism from civil liberty groups last night.
Shami Chakrabarti, director of the rights group
Liberty, criticised the Prime Minister's move. "The sinister twist in this
case is that the government's own Human Rights Act is being used as the
target for tough talk," she said. "In fact, it's a very tame piece of rights
legislation that doesn't, for instance, allow the courts to trump
parliament."

Blair's letter to Reid is just one of several believed to have been sent to
his reshuffled Cabinet team as he attempts to get back on course following a
dismal two-week period, which saw Labour lose over 300 seats in England's
local government elections, and forced Blair to sack Charles Clarke as Home
Secretary following the released foreign prisoners scandal.

In what appeared to be a co-ordinated bid to move the news agenda on from
the events of the last week, the Prime Minister also uses in an article in a
Sunday newspaper today to condemn the "appalling" activities of
anti-vivisection extremists and re-affirmed the government's support for
animal testing.

The Prime Minister pledged to do all that was necessary to root out the
criminal minority behind the campaign of terror.

The proposal comes after extremists threatened shareholders in drugs company
GlaxoSmithKline. They claimed that shareholders would have their names
published on the internet unless they dumped their holdings.

Blair said the government would also consult on plans to keep shareholders'
names secret to protect medical research which has saved hundreds of
millions of lives.

However, the Prime Minister's attempt to draw a line under the past two
weeks, failed to bring a halt to continuing speculation last night that he
has agreed to hand over the reins of power to Gordon Brown next summer.

Rumours of an early departure were reinforced last week when Blair and his
Chancellor announced they had ended their long-running dispute over the
solution to Britain's pensions crisis.

Scotland on Sunday understands that former Health Minister Alan Milburn is
believed to be holding talks this weekend with Reid and Culture Secretary
Tessa Jowell in order to persuade Blair to see out a full term.

Blair is now facing an onslaught from the "ultras" in his coterie, who
believe that he should stay in office until the next election, to carry
through the reforms proposed in the 2005 General Election manifesto.

Is the Tony Blair Midas touch about to be let loose again soon? May God help
the people of the UK nation.

Tony Blair was served at Downing Street four years ago with my two million
pounds damages bill to him for his failure to have set in motion the
necessary mechanism to set up independent or impartial tribunals or
authorities that UK citizens are required to have under Article 6(1) of the
European Human Rights Convention. This matter remains as a serious violation
to the rights of the UK nation. Shortly after that one of Tony's cronies, Mr
Matt Dowding. replied to a letter that I had sent to Blair saying that my
case http://www.mason-rule.bizhosting.com was to be referred to the Lord
Chancellors Department. This was only one of the many lies coming from
Downing Street in recent years since Blair took up temporary residence there
in 1997. A few weeks later Northumbria Police Special Squad officers
surrounded my home at Hetton-le-Hole following a catalogue of establishment
crimes carried out against me that had also arranged my bankruptcy. The
facts still prove that I was not nor ever could have been in the
circumstances been lawfully declared a bankrupt at the very corrupt Durham
County Court. I was then barred from remaining as a New Labour
Hetton-le-Hole Town Councillor by reason of that Banruptcy arranged by huge
establishment corruption. The Northumbria Police Special Squad officers came
very close to shooting me on the first night of their unlawful siege of my
home at Hetton. I was not armed so had police shot me that would have been
murder. Police do not shoot to disable they shoot to kill. This is a proven
fact as the many police murders show..

Three nights later when I still refused to give up my home for the benefit
of criminals, the Special Squad battered down the door and stormed in. I
held a sword to my stomach while I stood at the top of the stairs to my
home trying to pluck up courage to fall on it as a final protest. Two of the
Special Squad officers rushed up the stairs and then handcuffed me. They
left the sword between the handcuffs and then each of them took one of my
shoulders and started to push me down on the sword while making verbal
noises clearly to help coordinate the pressure that they were using to force
me down onto the sword. The sword had been one of two that had previously
decorated a room in my home. A third Special Squad officer followed up the
stairs and on seeing his colleagues attempting to murder me, dragged me
headlong down the stairs away from them. That murder attempt on me was
witnessed by at least another five Special Squad officers. All have since
kept silent on these matters. Facts regarding these attempts on my life were
reported to Tony Blair, former home Secretary David Blunkett, Queen
Elizabeth II and my present conservative Member of Parliament Mr. David
McClean. All of these people continue to ignore this matter. Are they really
fit people to hold any public office. The answer to this question is clearly
no. Yes we do have indeed have home grown terrorists and I include Mr Tony
Blair and some of his yes men amongst them. Tony Blair failed at being a pop
star. He has also failed miserably at being Prime Minister. He along with
his bosom pal Bush, are responsible for the deaths, often in horrific
circumstances, of over one hundred thousand innocent lives. The loss of one
innocent life is one too many. Here we have the number being well over one
hundred thousand and still rising. Does Prime Minister Mr. Blair really
have such thing as a conscience? The evidence is that he does not have one.

I must include here the fact that less than two days before Northumbria
Police laid their illegal siege to my home at Hetton Lyons, Hetton-le-Hole,
in February 2003. My Appeal against its possession was adjourned at
Middlesboro County Court when I was taken ill to hospital. That Appeal
remains adjourned despite the Middlesboro County Court trying to get away
from this fact. Evidence had been provided to the judge in that Appeal which
in effect upheld my Appeal. Part of that evidence showed that where a
litigant raises any concerns about the independence or impartiality of a
court or tribunal, and these authorities fail to deal with this as a matter
of priority, this is an automatic violation of Article 6(1) of the European
Human Rights Convention. This is another fact that the UK courts would wish
not to be known to the general public. I still remain deprived of my home.

To date my home at Hetton-le-Hole has been subject of theft, around
seventeen thousand pounds of my personal possessions were stolen from it.
Land which I owned has also been subject of theft and the Durham District
Land Registry was party to that theft. I am deprived of access to a house
that my wife and I purchased at Grange Road Dacre Banks, North Yorkshire
for cash ten months before the Judicial Mafia at the Durham County Court
declared me a bankrupt. What upsets me all the more is that my wife of
thirty years was fully aware that I could not in the circumstances have been
a bankrupt even if my bankruptcy had not been obtained by what amounts to a
mass of establishment crime, which it indeed was. The divorce that she
believes that she obtained from me in 1999 was obtained by the use of Fraud.
It was the late Master of the Rolls, Lord Denning, who ruled that any court
Order obtained by the use of fraud is invalid. That section of law still
applies. The fraud used against me and allowed and assisted by members of
the judiciary in Durham and Newcastle County Court civil cases DH400950,
DH400898 and NE401650 still beggars belief.

I remain very concerned that Queen Elizabeth II is the Patron Head of the UK
Secret Society of Freemasonry. The implications from this fact are very
serious indeed especially given the fact that the Judicial Oath sworn by all
UK judges and magistrates only to Queen Elizabeth II is a proven massive
fraud with all of the consequences arising from this fact. If the Judicial
Oath had been meant to mean what its supposed to mean, I would not be in the
dire situation that I now am. The Judicial Oath fraud amounts to a treason
being used against the people of the UK nation. The Star Chamber outlawed in
the 1640's is alive and well again. The UK judiciary has no accountability
to anyone, not even for their crimes, and that includes Parliament. In fact
it would be true to say that the UK now lives in what might be described as
a modern day middle ages.

The UK nation is also having to pay for the massive cost of the war against
Iraq. The human cost is also very substantial. The UK nation is also having
to pay for the huge cost of security for the UK nation which is unlikely to
have been needed before the war on Iraq. Tony Blair has given the UK enemies
that they would probably not otherwise have had. It's the security of the UK
people that is threatened now. The cost of the huge security around Tony
Blair is also being met by the UK general public.

It will serve as further proof of a UK Nation probably in its early throws
of death. Human rights are simply being swept under the carpet with Tony
Blair. The word "independent" would appear to be a dirty word in Mr. Blair's
vocabulary. It is difficult for lawyers to keep up with Blair's new laws
coming into power almost daily. The NHS is bankrupt. Tax by stealth is now
the order of the day. Never in my sixty plus years of life have I ever
witnessed the likes of Tony Blair.
