hi,just started ripping the bathroom out and as i removed the wall tiles
that were over the bath i noticed the plasterboard behind was quite damp so
i want to remove the section of plasterboard and replace it with some marine
ply then tile over the top, so.... is it ok to use marine ply for this
application and secondly what would i use to seal the ply so i can put tiles
over the top.

Thanks in advance

I have marine ply in our shower room that is tiled. I sealed it with a
watered down PVA adhesive. I think it said on the can what water to PVA
ratio to use.
