THE World Health Organisation has given the green light for travel to Toronto to resume after declaring the city safe from SARS.
The move - which is effective from today - happened after Canadian diplomats visited the WHO headquarters in Geneva for high-level talks.
It has now been 20 days since the last case of SARS in the Canadian capital.
The advisory against travel to Hong Kong, Beijing and the Chinese provinces of Guangdong and Shanxi remain in place.
