Again, his hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Yep sure enough there is the copyright at the bottom
of the page ( http://tinyurl.com/5cnc3 ), exactly
where you would expect to find it.

Even more amazing than ripping off pictures from the
web is that he then started sharing the pictures!!
Harvest Dancer noticed this and commented:

You can see that acknowledment at the following web
site: http://tinyurl.com/534du
I'm not sure how long these pictures will stay up,
especially the ones he passed onto exodus2006. Of
course if he has bought the rights to display AND
distribute these pictures then he is in the clear.
Anyone think he paid for anything?
Note that if you right click on the page he claims a copyright and it seems
to be for him.
I guess he wants us to pay for the pictures rather than steal them as he
did.
With that clever JavaScript in place I could never steal the picture
http://www.jcsm.org/Axum/8.jpg
By right clicking.
What kind of logic allows the thief to take the rights?
Squaters rights? That's about all I can come up with.
By the way I have to take your word with regard to the
right click. It does not seem to work with the MAC
equivalent of control/click.
David D.
Oh, now that's just sad. Sick even. He steals the pictures, he
prevents right-clicking them on his stolen site, then he gives them to
a Christian site (which, by the way, you can right-click on).
It is sad how low Gastrich can go.
However, there are a multitude of ways around such a block. All you
need is a rudimentary knowledge of HTML.
Jason Harvestdancer
Or, apparently , a MAC and safari, since I can download
them no problem at all.

Here's the message that pops up:

Moreover, he's written/borrowed some script that won't run on most browsers:
if (document.all)
{
if (event.button == 2)
{
alert(message);
return false;
}
}
I'm no JavaScript expert, but it's my understanding that document.all is
typically not implemented on non IE-browsers. The logic certainly
doesn't work on FireFox.
Also, it takes little effort to "Save As..." the page and pick the
graphics out.
Wow, that is brazen.

Obviously not on MAC's safari browser either. I can 'save as' and
the jpg is on my desktop. And then in my trash.
So much for our resident internet/computer genius. i suppose
we shouldn't be surprised since he seems to fly by the seat of his
pants in all his ventures.
David D.
Essentially any browser APART from IE can download the pictures and
ignore Jason's "copyright" script. It works wonders on Firefox,
confirming the document.all statement above.. ;)
He also had the unmitigated gall to spam myself and my client again
today. <sigh>
Does anyone have the correct DNS whois info for
liberty.premierservers.com ?
Who the heck OWNS Jason's host, as both copyright infringement and
spamming are grounds for violation for hosting and service plans ?
(Even if he hosts from a Road Runner account - perhaps they should be
informed as well...)

Ultimately, Verio, I think. Though he's probably got it through some
kind of reseller agreement. ab...@verio.net
It took me a while but I finally got the joke. Using an extension of
.jpg instead of .html and I see.
Some web genius. He's actually hawking a book about making money on
the web?

JERRY
So, has anyone contacted Martin Gray and gotten his take on it, if
Jason paid for the pics and rights to distribute, etc?
Note that it's 8.jpg so I had to find the name associated with the picture.
There are other and actually simpler ways of getting the picture but it
exposes another bit of knowledge Jason lacks.

Again? You mean 'still.'
