I appear to have volunteered to change a friends megane cam belt, luckily before it has snapped!! Anyway, I understand it is advisable to change water pump, tensioners and auxilliary belt at the same time but is the cam locking tool essential? I just bought a 2004 Megane. Great car, but apparently the standard CD-player don't support discs with mp3-files? Can this really be true, or does the player just need to be fixed?

My daughters clio's rear brakes were sticking on and the peddle was hard. Anyway I pulled them apart the shoes were knackered & the cylinders started to leak, I ordered the bits (I was told there are 4 different types of shoes). I couldn't see any adjustments for the handbrake cable (the haynes manual said there should be an adjuster underneath or in the car. I fitted... more »

Scenic II Instuments stay on

I Know they're supposed to stay on for a little, while but mine stay on all night and flatten the battery! If I put an ammeter across the the positive terminal to the wiring loom there's a 2 amp draw from the battery constantly with everything I can possibly switch off switched off. Anyone any suggestions as to what could be the problem.... more »
