announcing song "La La La by the Birds and the Bees" and giving ID.
0110, ID and "Spirit of a dream." 0111, he says "...6925 is very much
like a Russian whore..." and music past 0118. Overall s9, good signal,
slight fades. Good fidelity, maybe a little hot on the music.

Sad but true. Why he hasn't let it go to Cos, or someone else take hold of
it I don't get. I understand the back end of the FRN is archaic and
cumbersome but I think If we could get a hold of the servers we could bring
the database into the modern world and recreate the site with a stable and
modern platform while preserving the historical data. I'd really like to

well some people like to keep control of stuff even when they let it go to
shit cause they built it and basically don't care what others think or how

All my emails to Cruzan have bounced back. FRN is down. I won't bother to
say "for good" because as soon as I do, it will come back up, but it
certainly isn't reliable anymore. What a shame to let it go the way he's
done.

For those who may not have heard, DXing great Don Jensen, of Kenosha,
WI, passed away yesterday afternoon of an apparent heart attack. He was
a respected journalist, one of the founders of the late ANARC, and a
long-time active NASWA member.

I've emailed John "again" as usual. So figure a week to two weeks and it
will suddenly be back up. Why he doesn't turn it over to Cos, JTA or me or
anyone is beyond comprehension.

Well it's back yet I can't get my posts to show up like the last month or
so it was still up. That old software JC uses really needs updating badly
yesterday (sorry to say) but I sure am glad it's back at least to read on
this end. WB to the FRN!

I wrote to JC about a month ago, telling him "its killing the FRN" and
he said he was "moving it to Facebook" and did I want to be a
moderator? I told him no but thanks I've got too much medical crap
going on. So I think the FRN is dead as we know it.

Been on for nearly an hour now with Andy Walker playing rare oldies.
Decent signal - S5 to S7 - into WNY. Some @$$h@t is throwing carriers
but CZ is waayyy over the attempted jamming.
