Awesome! For those people who weren't there, we had a strange problem
with Mark's laptop that a reboot seemed to cure. It's quite possible
that the problem was a failure of the BIOS to properly initialize the
shared graphics memory being used on Mark's laptop. As he said, it's
an older, cheaper eMachines (?) model that he uses to just try out
stuff willy-nilly. (Good planning!) Anyway, once we did a hard
reboot things just worked as expected.
