Whereas the language of parliamentary motions in and of itself
generally is redolent of boredom and run-on sentences just as it is
lacking in onomatopoeia or doggerel, and
Whereas it is sung in the corpus of The Police, "do, do, do, da, da,
da, is all I want to say to you", yet elsewhere in the work of Stephen
Foster, "doo-dah, doo-dah",
Let our committee forthwith consider matters that contain
onomatopoeia, that is to say, transcriptions of the sounds made by
various animals, notwithstanding the conveyance in English of the
sounds of certain activities, speakers, and singers as it addresses
this with importand inquiry:
Was the crossing of the street by the chicken conveyed by the jay
walker to which it was stapled audible?
