Hi ,

I am trying to install frapi on my ubuntu system and having some trouble. I have followed all the instructions to set up vhosts etc on apache.
I have also done mod_rewrite on ubuntu.

I am able to see login screen at admin.frapi and I am also able to see api.frapi screen but when I enter my username and password I get an error
The requested URL /login was not found on this server.

I am not able to figure out where could be the probelm. Please suggest.

Hi There,

Just to confirm, you have done a:

sudo a2enmod rewrite

And your virtual host entry includes this:

<Directory PATH_TO_FRAPI/src/frapi/public>
AllowOverride All
Order deny,allow
Allow from All
</Directory>

Also double check that there is a .htaccess in the directory specified
above. If that doesn't help please give me any other information you
can!

Thanks,

Trevor

Hi,

Thanks a lot for your response. I am able to get frapi running and generally it works fine. I have created few actions and I can access them.

I have been facing another problem which I am not able to understand.
Initially when the setup was successful I was able to see admin screen from admin.frapi and api screen from api.frapi.   api. frapi displayed default actions that came with installation and some other stuff. As soon as I created a new action then at api.frapi I was not able to see any other actions after that not even default ones and was not able to see documentation of the ones that were shown and when I deleted all default actions and removed their file also from custom actions I am not able to see api.frapi page. I am getting the following error message

FRAPI Encountered some errors

  • Name: ERROR_INVALID_ACTION_REQUEST, with message: Invalid requested action
Though my api's are working fine when I try to access them using the full url.

Please suggest.

Hi Amar,

You didn't happen to remove the Introduction action did you? The Introduction action is what displays the list of actions when you visit the url api.frapi.

If you go into admin.frapi then click "Actions" is Introduction listed there?

OK, then that is your problem. You'll have to grab a fresh copy of frapi and not remove the Introduction action or the introduction files from the custom directory if you want the documentation.
