Scheduled Task

I have created a folder called tasks in the root of my app to hold
scheduled tasks. When I try to run any of the .cfm pages the
framework ignores the request and runs the default views. How do I
tell the framework to run the scheduled task and to not wrap any
layouts or views around it ?

Someone else mentioned this technique in another post, but you can just include an Application.cfc in the "tasks" folder (and do not extend the FW/1 controller) so the framework does not try to do anything with it.
