How to check input color space?

Hi,
I'm using Debugmode FrameServer with Adobe Premiere Pro to get the video to MeGUI/x264. I've read on your homepage that Premiere Pro can serve the video in YUV, but I've also read other reports that say that Premiere Pro only serves YUV as long as you don't use any video effects.
Since I want to export my videos with as few color space conversions as possible and AviSynth supports both RGB and YUY2 input, I'd like to check the input color space of the FrameServer. Is this possible?
