Hi all,

Debugmode Frameserver 2.14 is now available. This version adds support
for Vegas Pro 11, 32 and 64 bit versions. You can get it from
http://www.debugmode.com/frameserver/.

Thanks to Victor for contributing to this release. Please keep the
contributions coming :)

Cool and thank you!

I'm using FS with Sony Vegas pro 11 64b. I'm use to export in first
the audio alone the after the video.
I have to do this because the option "Write audio as PCM samples in
signpost AVI" is not OK for me. The last second of the audio is
repeated (I ear it one more time).

Does somebody have the same issue?
The problem is here since long-time (since the FS is modified for Sony
Vegas Pro 10 I think).

Please answer me, I would like to solve this problem if it's possible.

Regards...

Also, version 2.14 now supports Adobe Premiere Elements 10 (with a 64
bit frameserver plugin).

Thanks to VictorT for his contributions to this release. Please make a
donation to him as a show of appreciation - http://homepage.mac.com/victortch/DMFS_donation.html

Add to the end of the track 2-3 blank seconds in your NLE. Then after
frameserving delete 2-3 empty seconds. It helped me.

Hello Fostal and everybody!

You tell me to add 2 or 3 seconds when I "FrameServe"; after I can
delete these 2 or 3 seconds. I don't really understand. Can you
explain this in an other way please?

Thank you.

In Sony Vegas:
1) I create a loop region (movie + 3 sec blank at the end).
2) Render as DebugMode FrameServer (*.avi). Render loop region only.
3) Then in the following program (TMPGenc, Carbon, Procoder) delete
the last 2 seconds.
4) Rendering..

Sorry, I poorly know English :)

Ok, thank you very much.

If I'm OK, you are Russian? I can see this "фев"; For my part I'm
French.

See you later.

Any chance for MVC (3D) support? If I start a 3D project in Vegas, Debugmode Frameserver only renders 1 "eye"...

When starting encoders, they ask for a left eye and a right eye file. It would be sooooo nice if the Debugmode Frameserver was able to save TWO .AVI files (with identical audio) - with right and left eye .AVI files...

Depending on what Vegas and your encoder support, you could probably create a workaround using avisynth. If possible, have Vegas output a side-by-side video. Then, use two Avisynth scripts that split the side-by-side video into left and right AVS scripts using the Crop function. Finally, supply these scripts to your encoder in place of two video files. Of course, this also depends on Frameserver allowing its footage to be accessed twice...

Just tried that - and as long as I choose a 2D project in Vegas and frameserve that using Debugmode Frameserver...it works (both .avs files are picked up and read by the encoder). But the second I choose a 3D stereoscopic project, side-by-side, it doesn't work. I guess the frameserver isn't exactly built for this...yet?

In case anyone wants to try out 3D...here's a short 22MB 3D file from my Sony HXR-NX3D1E camera:

PS: be sure to choose 3D viewing method in Vegas under "options - preferences - preview device - Stereoscopic 3D mode". Red/cyan would be the easiest way to start...

OK, thank you a LOT for the help - it IS possible with updated software ;)

1: Start Sony Vegas 11
2: Set project properties to full HD, 1920x1080, 3D stereoscopic side-by-side full, 32 bit full range pixel format.
3: Edit the video with transitions etc. as it should present it self
4: Select render, deselect every filter option so that Debugmode Frameserver appears. Start render, select RGB32 in Frameserver and save file "frameserver.avi"
5: Use these 2 AVS (AVIsynth) files:

File left.avs
AviSource("d:\frameserver.avi")
crop(0,0,1920,1080)

File right.avs
AviSource("d:\frameserver.avi")
crop(1920,0,0,0)

6: Go to favorite MV encoder and load the 2 .AVS files. Encode and be happy :)
