How do I install the latest Frameserver v2.10 so I can use it in Vegas
8c & Vegas 10b on the same PC? What folder(s) do I point the
installation to?

I'm running Win 7 64bit OS. Thanks so much for sharing this awesome
program and for your help...MG

And one more question:
I've installed 2.10 as shown in the video by VitekT..
I can see the Debugmode Frameserver in RenderAs..
But "template" option as well as "custom" is grayed-out(disabled)
and when I try to save signpost message displays "there is no template
available for this format. The selected media may not support it".
With no luck.
BTW: "About" button works, and shows version 2.10

The simplest option is to do the install twice. In the first run,
installer will put the Vegas plug-in in the Vegas 10.0 folder. Once
the installer is finished, rename the Vegas 10 folder to some other
name and run the installer again. This time if you choose Vegas again,
it will detect the lower version (Vegas 8c) and install in that
location. Once done, you can rename the Vegas 10 folder back to its
original name.

The installer doesn't seem to automatically detect my Vegas programs.
I'm running Win 7 (64 bit) and the installer defaults everytime to C:
\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 10.0\. I got it working on Vegas 10
(32bit) by copying Frameserver.x86.fio2007-config from the Vegas 10
64bit folder to C:\Program Files(x86)\Sony\Vegas Pro 10.0\ folder.

To install for Vegas 8, I renamed the Vegas 10 (32bit) folder and re-
ran the DMFS 2.10 installer, but it defaulted to C:\Program Files\Sony
\Vegas Pro 10.0\. I read a post on Sony forum that said the installer
for Vegas 8 installs to C:\Program Files\Sony\Shared Plug-Ins\ so I
manually pointed the installer to C:\Program Files(x86)\Sony\Shared
Plug-Ins\.

It now works in Vegas 8c and Vegas 10b (after renaming
folder)...awesome!

BTW, I found to get it to work with Vegas 10 64 bit:

Copy file, C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\Vegas Pro
10.0\Frameserver.x86.fio2007-config to C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro
10.0\

Thank you so much for sharing this excellent program!!! MG

PS
I realized while writing this that the installer probably didn't
detect my Vegas 8 install location because I didn't rename both Vegas
10 32-bit and 64-bit folders. ???
