Materazzi: «Era strafottente, l'ho insultato»

quella testata nello sterno.
Prima, in
campo, c'era stato poco da scherzare. Ma di sicuro ha cominciato
Zidane, racconta Matrix.
vero».
Come dimenticare quello sguardo

>From L'Equipe:

damage control. someone's obviously gotten into this moron's ear and
told him to admit to something, since it's obvious he provoked zidane,
but to downplay it so zidane still looks completely at fault.

i like how he simply says "i held his shirt for a few seconds only" when
there's a video from a different angle that shows materazzi squeezing
zidane's nipple. no, that alone doesn't excuse a headbutt, but it does
prove that he's not being honest and is trying to sell a different
story.

Materazzi, 32, told Gazetta dello Sport: 'I held his shirt for a few seconds
only, then he turned to me and talked to me, jeering.

'He looked at me with a huge arrogance and said, `If you really want my
shirt I'll give it to you afterwards'. I replied with an insult, that's
true.'

Materazzi has not elaborated on what he did say, but one report suggested he
responded with: `I'd rather take the shirt off your wife'.
