Just In Time for Halloween

All Day Face Painting JAM from 12 noon to 12 midnight

718 996 0151 or 347 268 5245

October 13, 2006 - MARK YOUR CALENDARS

This Jam is for ANYONE who face paints - beginning, intermediate or
advanced.

Arrive at noon or at 6 pm. I will encourage EVERYONE to paint rather
than just hang out. The theme is not just Halloween - feel free to
practice ANYTHING. Bring your kit and kaboodle. We'll practice on
each other and I will be working day and night to get as many people to
come and be painted for our practice, as possible. Please don't tell
me you don't like to be painted! By attending this event, if you plan
not to paint (which I strongly encourage that you do), then prepare to
have your face painted. I will encourage everyone (until you get sick
of me or throw me out of my own apt) to PAINT, PAINT, PAINT!

Please don't plan to feel intimidated or "not good enough", we all must
start from somewhere. I'd be happy to show you on my computer, the
paintings that I did 5 years ago. One just simply picks up the brush -
AND JUMPS IN!

Come practice the guts and gore of Halloween or learn tips and tricks,
share your knowledge. There is no one purpose for the Jam, but a
chance for us to get together and share our love for the art of face
painting

Face painting knowledge will be shared freely and openly. Bring an
idea of what you would love to practice on and chances are, you'll have
the opportunity here.

We will gather in my apartment in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Music and
food/snacks/soda, etc. I will ask only a $10 donation for the
food/snacks.

We all have something to share, whether we know it or not - pros and
beginners alike. This is your time to share the joy. The art of
painting, especially on a human face, can truly become a celebration
EACH and EVERY time we paint a child's face. Most children express
this celebration while they are being painted, and when we see their
transformed faces in the mirror afterwards.

Please reply with an email as to whether or not you can attend this
event and at about what time. Please also send me the telephone number
where you are most reachable. You are welcome to stay the full 12
hours!
