We are delighted to tell you that the eagerly awaited second issue of
Illusion magazine will be available shortly. Issue 2 will be sent out
to current subscribers in the first week of March.

We are featuring a beautiful and original front cover design painted
for Illusion by Nick Wolfe. Nick's fascinating interview inside the
magazine gives us a unique insight into his life, work and
inspirations. While Nick is best known for his face painting, we also
feature his body painting designs and he tells us all about the Wolfe
brothers exciting trip to the 2006 World Body Painting Festival in
Austria.

Linzi Foxcroft is an award winning multi talented UK face painter,
with a very surprising career. Not only does she create the most
beautiful, intricate faces, she also works for the British army
producing casualty simulation make-up for training exercises. In this
fascinating article we find out how Linzi came from her life as a TV
make-up artist, to making up casualties for the army.

Step by step ideas are enjoyed by all of our readers, and we have a
great mixture to choose from in this issue. Mark Greenawalt shows us a
body paint step by step, while Lynne Jamieson will inspire us all with
an idea of how to create a very realistic horn or tooth. Our very own
Editor Claire shows us a simple belly art design that will be useful
for anybody starting out in belly painting.

International henna artist Riffat is our newest member of the Illusion
team and she will be showing us her individual approach to henna. Her
intricate designs have bought her world wide acclaim and we will be
regularly featuring her inspiring images. We are delighted to welcome
her to the Illusion team.

We have our face painting gallery, which is packed with images that
our readers have sent in to us. We love receiving your work and will
endeavour to print as many as we can in Issue 3.
