Hi all,

Hi all,

Our next meeting, will be held on Thursday, October 18th, starting at
6:30pm.

This month we completely throw away our schedule and our presenters
will be:

* Tran Ma : "Type-based Aliasing Control for the Disciplined Disciple Compiler"

* Amos Robinson : "Rewrite rules for the Disciplined Disciple Compiler"

* Simon Meier : "A guided tour through the new bytestring builder"

We may also have Liam O'Connor with some Monads and Category Theory stuff.

The meeting will be held at the Google offices at 48 Pirrama Road,
Pyrmont, in a building called Workplace6 (or WP6).

)

The RSVP form is here:

which helps us gauge attendance for catering purposes.

Cheers,
Erik

Hi,

Simon Meier posted a link to his slides on G+:

Tran's thesis is here, but I'm not sure whether her slides are up anywhere.

but they are quite terse, I don't expect them to be that meaningful without the talking.
