Hey all,

Marketplace is showing us uncaught exceptions reports, some users are
still reporting crashes that don't appear in the marketplace interface
though. Example: app crashes after post-check-in - no such exception
like this exists in marketplace reports.

I want to reenable dump catcher but it looks like we'd need to invoke
it on each thread that we're interested in (if I'm reading it right,
Joe).

I was thinking instead of a more general log collection method, where
we just dump the system log to an email. We'll get some clutter from
other apps, but it'll capture messages from all threads, and be easy
to maintain. There's a project that's doing this:

http://code.google.com/p/android-log-collector/

I can just add a button from the prefs page that dumps the log to an
email, should cover us pretty well. Let me know if you think this is a
bad idea,

Thanks,
Mark

Iirc, it should be easily usable in the app, afterall, this is what I wrote it for. I can look later this week.
