Subject: Astronomy Equipment for the Discovery Museum
Hi all,

Joe Lounge, a Durango resident, is doing some work for the Discovery
Museum. He is seeking input on the purchase of some astronomical
equipment for the Solar Roller mobile exhibit. Here's a copy of a
message he sent...

If you can offer any input or assistance, please reply and I'll send
you Joe's email so that you can correspond with him directly. I have
pointed him to Dave Miller as well.

(I would have included Joe's email in this message, but I'm not sure
if email addresses are removed or obfuscated through this group's Web
interface, and I don't want to be the reason he starts to get spam
email.)

Anyway, thanks for any assistance you can provide.

-Steve

That looks like a good combination for what requirements are
described.  And you were right, Dave Miller is the one to talk to.

I would suggest contacting the folks who are developing the Mobile
Astrophysical Laboratory (http://mobileastrolab.org/).  I think that the
Discovery Museum already has contacts with them, but the mobile educational
facility and instrument concept are similar to the Discovery Museum effort.
Whether or not they have included solar observing capability, I'm not sure,
but it's a potentially useful information source.
