Hi Trevor,

I'm cc-ing the unofficial mailing list for the unofficial API, which is unofficially the best place to ask questions.

No statistics are exposed directly via the API, but you can compute them using other API calls. For example, https://www.google.com/reader/api/0/stream/items/ids?s=user/-/state/com.google/read&n=10000&output=json gets you the last 10,000 items that the user read, and the time at which they were read. You can iterate over them and count the ones that fall into certain intervals.

This is how the "Trends" page in Reader works.

Hey,

I was just was browsing the Google Reader API and found your email address as the Project Lead.

I had a quick question that I'm hoping you can answer:  Does the API include any access to the reading statistics such as tags, how many article a user has read, time of day he/she has read them, etc?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Trevor
