Get starred items that are not in subscribed feeds

Hi

I tried getting all starred items that are not in a subscribed feed like this:

http://www.google.com/reader/api/0/stream/contents/user/-/state/com.google/starred?xt=user/-/state/com.google/reading-list

but I got all starred items.

a) is that not supported? and

b) is there any other way to achieve something like that?
