Hello, is it possible to receive the feeds in JSON format?

I've tried the Google Data Protocol method of adding ?alt=json to the end of URL as detailed @ http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/docs/json.html

Also the format for public feeds using 'javascript' instead of 'atom':
www.google.com/reader/public/javascript/feed/<feed>

Neither seems to work - is this confirmed as unavailable?

Thanks!

Try adding ?output=json to the end of the URL or:

https://www.google.com/reader/api/0/stream/contents/

Hey thanks!

I couldn't get http://www.google.com/reader/atom/?output=json to work (returns XML rather than JSON)
But https://www.google.com/reader/api/0/stream/contents/ works a charm!

Funny, I can't see any mention of /api/0/stream/contents/ on the pyrfeed docs page, apart from your comment dated 2009! However googling turned up http://blog.martindoms.com/2009/10/16/using-the-google-reader-api-part-2/ which was helpful.

Thanks again.
