Hello Friends,

Although it may be out of FOSS subject, I want to put this question here in this forum.

One of MPP's person told me that Adobe doesn't support Nepali UNICODE, is it really TRUE ?  Or there is problem in their software ?

One of my RAD tools also doesn't support Nepali UNICODE !!

Is there any other Nepali UNICODE program ?

Thanks,

Nepali Unicode is supported in Adobe softwares, but I have noticed that it doesn't work properly. For example श्र is written as श्‌र.

There is nothing like Nepali Unicode! (technically).
UTF-8 includes the Devanagari script!
and Adobe support UTF-8!

Glyph and phoneme are different thing. For example श्र is glyph and
श्‌र are phonemes. 0936 + 094D and 0930 are Unicode code point and
श्र is complex Nepali glyph. Thats why Adobe understand UTF -8 i.e
0936+094D and 0930 but does not understand श्र . If you want to
enable श्र to Adobe you have to work on ICU 4 C and Pango rendering
engine, Which is little bit tough job.

Have a nice language computing.

Yup, in Windows 7. I've noticed it shows the same behavior in Microsoft Publisher as well.
