I need a good PHP IDE for linux. Now I am using Dreamweaver in
Windows :( . I have to work not only in PHP but also in CSS and XHTML
sometimes. Which would be the best?

I generally use Eclipse with some of its plugins for UI support. Bluefish is not bad but haven't worked on that too much.

Try gPHPEdit, Geany and Bluefish. I personnally like Geany.

NVU is also worth a try.

Hey guys, try out the Netbeans IDE. I have been using it for the last one year and it has stood out the best for me as the possibly best one thats available! But you need to download the version that has support for PHP and configure PHP while installing.

In fact the new version 6.8 has just been released.

The following links should be helpful:
http://netbeans.org/

http://netbeans.org/features/php/index.html

http://netbeans.org/downloads/index.html

I am sure you are really going to enjoy this award winning awesome IDE!
Regards,
Abhishek

Geany will be a suitable editor.

Amaya, Kompozer or Bluefish should work fine if you want WISIWYG. I'm
comfortable with Geany.
