FOSS Nepal Orientation program was held at KU yesterday that is on 6th
June, 2010. This orientation was specially for 1st and 2nd year
students. It was the first formal orientation to students of batch
2009 on FOSS. The program was organized by Kathmandu University Open
Source Community (KUOSC). The review was very good at the end. The
orientation was given by Subir Dai, Jitendra dai and Jwalanta dai.
Thank to all of them and Dadhiram dai as well for their contribution.
The students have been using Linux and FOSS since they have joined KU
. At KU we have a dedicated computer lab for the 1st year students
with Linux (Fedora) system installed. So the orientation program was
very much fruitful for these students.
Cheers,
